Greece Refugee Service Trip 2017 (Uni-Y®(HKU) (Deadline: 29 Sept)
Spend
your semester break in a meaningful way by serving the families in the
Thessaloniki Refugee Camp in Greece! Before the trip, you will be equipped with
knowledge of the life of refugees in Hong Kong and around the world.
Details:
1. Eligibility: Full-time undergraduates with valid Uni-Y membership
2. Dates:
(1) Pre-trip workshops and meetings: October – December 2017 (5 times, for
exact dates, please visit the website below) (2) Trip: 26 December 2017 – 4
January 2018 (3) Post-trip meetings and activity: January – March 2018

Trip highlights: to design and carry out educational workshops and cultural
activities for refugee families and children
4. Fee:
$12,500 + $1,000 deposit**
5. Language of all pre-trip and post-trip workshops/meetings: Cantonese
**Deposit is
refundable upon (1) completion of the trip and post-trip activity; (2) 80%
attendance in all pre-trip and post-trip meetings; (3) satisfactory
performance; and (4) submission of post-trip reports.
