"Victoria City": Heritage Tour

“Victoria City” was the first urban settlements in Hong Kong after it became a British colony in 1842. It is centered in present-day Central and Sheung Wan. Although the city expanded rapidly and gradually merged with other districts, we can still find traces of it from the streets and buildings in Central and Sheung Wan. Participants can learn more about the early days of Hong Kong and its development. As the tour will start at HKU, it will also allow you to get to know the HKU neighborhood.
