University Hall is converted from a castle built more than 130 years ago. Situated adjacent to Pokfulam Reservoir, right at the entrance of Pokfulam Country Park, University Hall has a quiet and peaceful country neighbourhood, and a gorgeous view of the sea on the southern side of Hong Kong Island. It takes about 15 minutes to go from the hall to the main campus by bus. The hall has its own dining room, an open playground and many other modern facilities.

University Hall has a long and proud tradition. The staff and residents of the hall are committed to making hall residence a part of the "whole-person" education provided by the University. They take pride in our strong hall spirit, brotherhood and dynamic hall life. The ethos of University Hall is enshrined in the motto "Within these walls none is a stranger".
