Rental Charges for Venues and Equipment

Notes on Venue Booking:

  1. Minimum rental duration for all facilities is two consecutive hours.
    Preparation and dismantling time is included in the booking hours.
  2. Fees paid for bookings are normally not refundable.
  3. Transfer of bookings is prohibited.
  4. The premises, including all equipment and furniture, must be kept clean.
    Furniture must be reinstated to its original position after use.
  5. Any damage or malfunction of furniture, equipment, or fixtures should be reported immediately.
    In cases of misuse or negligence, users will be liable for the cost of repair and/or replacement.
  6. Eating and drinking is prohibited in the rooms, except in Room 302 with prior approval in advance of 3 working days.
  7. Users must observe all rules and regulations.
    Any breach of rules or regulations may have consequences or penalties.

Room operation hours: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. daily (except Lunar New Year holidays)

Notes on Equipment Booking ("the Service")

  1. The service is exclusively available for eligible student bodies (subject to the review and approval from the University). Executive Committee members of these student bodies are eligible for the service.  
  2. All eligible users should submit the equipment booking form at centre office during office opening hours.
  3. In general, the service is free of charge for eligible users. Other types of users are required to pay for the rental charges.
  4. All the equipment allocation is on first-come-first-served basis.
  5. Transfer of bookings is prohibited.
  6. Minimum rental duration for all facilities is two consecutive hours.
